i've been really down the last couple of months.
no need to dwell on that here.
but a month ago you could barely walk through the room
that i dreampt of being my studio.
then i stumbled upon a creative live
workshop online.
featuring kelly brown.
a newborn photographer from
australia.
i don't know what happened in listening to her
amazingly cool accent and watching her
gracefully capture images of newborns.
her story made me feel as if we were kindred spirits.
i got off my butt, for lack of better words.
pain set aside..
i was going to transform my studio.
i truly believe we have to fall in order to get up.
and God may put you in painful situations in order
for you to see the door He has opened for you.
so, mama flew in from florida.
we picked out 'heirloom lace' and painted
the walls.
organized and designed.
filled the room with things i love.
i believe you have to surround yourself with things
that inspire and spark your
creative fire.
still have some work to do
but it is well under way.
and though my struggle is not over..
i am feeling confident, inspired and most of all
ready..
to follow His plan for me.
